The chrome silicon steel springs are a superior choice for competition shooters as they can withstand thousands of compression cycles and retain their original strength far longer than conventional music wire springs. To ensure optimal performance and reliability, it's recommended that you replace your 1911 Firing Pin Return Spring every 5,000 rounds.
